- Name and optional survey answers — if you choose to complete the short waitlist questionnaire (your biggest kitchen frustration, an estimate of your weekly food waste, and whether you’d like to join the beta)

- Your IP address — used transiently to prevent abuse of our forms, not stored with your details
In the app:
- Pantry and food data you enter
- Meal preferences and dietary requirements
- Usage data and app interactions
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Salare
- Send you the waitlist emails described in our Terms — your TestFlight invitation, a launch notification, and the waitlist introductory offer

- Personalise your experience through Sal, our AI assistant

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, or alteration.
Third-party services
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Salare: Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending transactional email, such as your waitlist confirmation), and Apple (app distribution). Each service has its own privacy policy governing its handling of your data.
